The Washington Association of School Principals (AWSP) is recognizing Principal Dave Vetter as a nominee for the Washington State "Middle Level Principal of the Year" for 2015/2016. The final award recipient will be announced in March, with all nominees being recognized at the AWSP summer conference.
According to the AWSP announcement, Mr. Vetter is being recognized for the contributions he has made to the school, students and community. The letter further stated that these contributions "are noteworthy and deserving of recognition. The responsibilities of principals are many and significant, but too often go unrecognized."
Good job, Mr. Vetter!
