The District was notified Tuesday, 2 February, that RHS Principal Dave Vetter has been chosen as a finalist for selection as Middle Level Principal of the Year for the state of Washington. He is one of three in the state chosen as a finalist.

Two interviewers from the Association of Washington State Principals will come to RHS on 23 February to speak with students, staff and the superintendent about Mr. Vetter and his effect on the school. Their goal is to identify and recognize superior middle level principals who provide the highest learning experiences for students and demonstrate exceptional contributions to the profession.

According to Dr. Holland, Superintendent of Schools, "To have progressed to this level of recognition is, in itself, an honor. I certainly appreciate what Dave and his team do for our students every day."
