We had another outstanding state track meet this weekend. The boys team finished in a tie for 3rd place in State, bringing home a trophy for the 4th straight year. The girls finished 8th in state.  There were 4 individual champions: Karlee Freeman in the discus and 100 hurdles, Jayce Freeman in the 110 hurdles, and Jace Duckworth in the pole vault.  A complete listing of how the kids did is listed below. 

  • Karlee Freeman - 1st in the discus (159-8, state meet record), 1st in the 100 hurdles (15.65), 2nd in the 300 hurdles (46.97), 8th in the 100 (13.32)
  • Aubree Gardner - 7th in the shot put (34-9.75)
  • Cydney Flemetis - 11th in the javelin (111-8)
  • Kendra Dunsmoor - 15th in the pole vault (7-0)
  • Jayce Freeman - 1st in the 110 hurdles (15.79), 6th in the 200 (23.38), 13th in the 100 (12.01)
  • Jace Duckworth - 1st in the pole vault (13-0)
  • Alex Vaca - 4th in the 400 (51.82), 14th in the 100 (12.05)
  • Kason Koski - 3rd in the high jump (6-1)
  • Luke Hamilton - 6th in the shot put (47-5)
  • Sean Sath - 8th in the 110 hurdles (16.88)
  • Jimmy Thepsoumphou - 10th in the high jump (5-10)
  • 4x100 relay (Sean Sath, Jace Duckworth, Alex Vaca, Elliott Murdock) - 5th (45.04)
  • 4x400 relay (Jace Duckworth, Elliott Murdock, Jayce Freeman, Alex Vaca) - 2nd (3:29.23)
